Uneven breast size is quite common in 85% of women. Most women are not aware of this asymmetry. In some women, the difference is so obvious that it is impossible to go unnoticed.
Another cause of breast asymmetry is “Poland Syndrome”. Poland syndrome is a condition that causes a lack of muscle development on one side of the body. It is primarily characterized by the lack of chest wall muscles, as well as webbed fingers on the same side of the body. For this reason, breast deformity or insufficient development are among the causes of breast asymmetry.
Sometimes breast augmentation, sometimes breast lift using implants, and sometimes fat injection can be used to eliminate the asymmetric disorder in the breast and to obtain the ideal breast form. Breast implants can be inserted in uneven breasts that lacks volume. If the patient has a saggy nipple, a breast lift can be performed with or without an implant.
The deficiencies in the underarm area, especially due to the lack of pectoral muscle development, which can be seen in Poland syndrome, the décolleté area and the subcutaneous tissue deficiencies between the chest and collarbone are eliminated by fat injection.
