Since other parts of the face are also involved in addition to neck lift, the operation time varies between 5 and 7 hours. How to Prepare for Your Surgery?

You must avoid using medications that increases the chances that you will bleed excessively after surgery such as Aspirin. Smoking should be stopped 3 weeks before surgery. Since the patient cannot dye their hair for 1 month after surgery, they can dye it 1 week in advance. Keeping the hair long will be beneficial in covering up the dressings used after surgery.

Are There Any Visible Scars After Neck Lift Surgery?

Generally, the scars that will occur with good wound closure and special dressing materials are unnoticeable. Surgical incisions are made along natural skinfolds and are hidden behind the ear and in the scalp. Wound healing can be delayed, if the following complications occur, (Bleeding, infection, loss of the facial skin seen in smokers) you might need a scar treatment.
